How it started
Narendra Jain is from Molela, Rajasthan. Before jewellery, he sold incense sticks there.
When he decided to start Narenkumar Jewellers in Bhayandar, he did not have capital. Nirmala quietly gave him all the jewellery she had received from her father during their marriage. No agreements. No calculations. No "what if this doesn't work." For her those ornaments were memories from her parents. For him they became responsibility.
He opened the first counter in 1992. A rented shop on Talao Road, Bhayandar. No loans. Hallmarking was still new in the market. The house moved to hallmark gold in 1995. He kept changing how the shop earned trust. The jewellery business had to keep up.
Early days: a small rented shop, limited customers, days when survival felt like growth.
Talao Road, then the other three doors
About 34 years now. Hallmark gold jewellery in North Mumbai. People have been trusting these stores for generations. Three generations of certain families have been buying gold from us. People who bought bangles that year now bring their children, and then their grandchildren. That is the work. Not a slogan.

Customer first, staff who stayed
What separates us is the quality of service and the personalization. We are customer first. We think long term. We try to do what is right for the customer at that point, rather than sell them something today.
We are not a super large store with hundreds of staff who keep changing. Most staff have stayed over 10 years. When a customer comes back they often find people they know, so we recognise them and the service is personal.

Hallmark gold, certified diamonds, branded gemstone rings. That is normal now, not a boast.

What we will not claim
We will not invent gold rates or making charges here. Those belong to the day you sit. See what the metal from a year since 1992 is worth at the 2025 average, not today's store rate. Gold you bought from us is 100% exchange value. Gold from elsewhere: a nominal melting loss. We try to give the best buyback and exchange we can. Sit with the piece at the counter.
We will not invent collection names. The trays are gold, diamond, bridal, Italian, antique, mangalsutra, gemstones, and make-to-order. That is enough.
We are four showrooms in North Mumbai, not a national chain. We do not have a door in every suburb. Start where your family already goes. Bhayandar, Mira Road, Kundali, Kandivali last.
